A professionally led parenting community in Shropshire

Where parents are held too.

A circle of parents at the same stage as you, two professionals in your pocket, and one good get-together every month. So no one figures this out alone.

What Bloom is

A guided community for the transition into parenthood.

Bloom is a membership community led by a former midwife and a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, built for pregnancy and the early years of parenthood. You join a circle of parents at the same stage as you, and get direct access to professionals alongside genuine peer support — the two things that usually live in separate places.

Your circle

A group of parents due — or holding babies — at the same time as you. Not strangers a year ahead or behind.

In your pocket

Your circle lives on WhatsApp, with a former midwife and a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist in the chat. Ask the 3am question. Someone’s been there — and someone’s qualified.

Once a month, in person

A relaxed local meet-up with a guest expert from the birth and baby world. Hot coffee, yummy cake, real faces, no polished feed.

Kind words

“Yes, same here

In a time where you feel vulnerable, a little lost and sleep deprived; being held by this wonderful group and being around women in the same phase of life as you is exactly what I needed.

— Tia

While baby groups are wonderful, sometimes a mum group is what you really need postpartum. This is the group: supportive, quiet, calm, and the perfect place to meet other women in the same season as you.

— Charoltte

Kin has been one of the most valuable parts of my postpartum journey so far. Calm, welcoming and a space where you can learn, share honestly and leave feeling lighter. Steph has created the kind of village that every new parent deserves.

— Ellie

Good to know

Questions, answered

How do I join?+
Add your name to the waiting list and we’ll be in touch. Once we’ve confirmed there’s a space, we’ll send you a secure payment link. As soon as that’s paid, you’ll get a welcome email with your invitation to the Bloom WhatsApp community.
Why is there a waiting list?+
Bloom only works if it stays small enough to feel like a room, not a crowd. We open places in batches so that every new member gets a proper welcome and the conversation stays warm rather than overwhelming.
What does it cost?+
Membership is £25 a month. That covers the WhatsApp community, the monthly in-person meet-up with a guest speaker, and direct access to us both. No joining fee, no minimum term.
When am I billed?+
On the same date each month, from the day you join. You’ll get a receipt from Stripe each time.
Is there a minimum sign-up period?+
No. Bloom is month to month — stay for as long as it’s useful to you, and stop whenever it isn’t.
What happens if my payment fails?+
Stripe will try again automatically over the following few days, and you’ll get an email if it needs your attention. Nothing dramatic happens in the meantime — we’ll never remove someone from the community without getting in touch first.
How do I cancel?+
You can cancel any time from your membership page. Enter the email address you joined with and we’ll send you a secure link — from there you can cancel in a couple of clicks. Your membership stays active until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you’ll keep access to the community until then. No notice period, no conversation you have to have.
I’ve cancelled — can I come back?+
Always. Just add yourself to the waiting list again and we’ll get you back in as soon as there’s a space.
